There are lots of delicious restaurants close by, and the bed was comfortable. The hostel has enough toilets and showers. Its spacious common area is well equipped, with free-flow coffee and tea for guests and four different coffee beans to choose from. It could use more electrical outlets near the tables in the common area.

The staff were some of the best hotel staff I’ve come across. They were attentive to details, helpful, and super friendly. If their boss reads this, they all deserve a raise. It’s a beautiful hotel with a strong design, and I liked the unusual decorative touches that add to the atmosphere. The breakfast tasted good, but it was more like a lunch or dinner menu. Expect a burger at 8am, not toast or other breakfast food. The rooms don’t work well for families. With two kids and our family luggage, there wasn’t room to open bags and still walk around. There’s no proper chair in the room, just a half-full beanbag. The bathroom also offers little privacy, so it’s not a good fit if you’re traveling with kids and care about that. If I were 20 years younger, it would’ve been cool to stay here.

The common area was thoughtfully equipped, and the location near eateries was convenient. The exposed brick and other design details give the place a distinctive look, though to me it feels more like a stylish hostel than a full-service hotel. The rooms are on the small side, and the service is decent but not at a five-star level. There’s no heating in the room, which could be a drawback in colder weather. For the same price, I’d personally choose a five-star hotel with more amenities and a proper buffet breakfast. Still, it’s a reasonable option if you like boutique-style accommodation.

The rooms were very clean, and the building looks nice. I also liked the shared space on the third floor and the central location, with plenty of interesting attractions and food options nearby. Sound insulation is terrible. You can hear what your neighbors are doing, including toilets flushing and water running down the pipes in the wall. The cleaning staff are loud too, and their carts make a lot of noise in the hallways. The bathroom setup is odd. The toilet room is semi-transparent, so you can see someone moving around inside and definitely hear everything. Breakfast is fine, but overpriced when bought separately from the room. There are much better and cheaper options nearby.
