One of the two rooms we rented had a strong smoke smell, possibly from guests who’d smoked there before. The fan in that room was broken, so it was freezing all night. The room my other family members had was fine and had no smoke smell. We had dinner there and tried the breakfast buffet; both were pretty decent. The staff were nice and seemed to enjoy their work. When we mentioned the smell, they gave us gifts to make up for it. The stay was alright overall.

The beach is nice and just across the hotel parking lot, which is the best thing about the location. The hotel itself feels dated, and it’s a shame the grounds outside haven’t been maintained, since you can see the potential for a great resort. They’ve also removed the pool. The restaurant food was mediocre at best. The rates are low for a reason, but it wasn’t a bad stay as long as you keep your expectations down.

The breakfast was generous and tasty, and the staff were lovely and helpful. My room was clean, too. I’d happily come back.

The hotel’s wifi barely worked, and even when it did, it was almost unusable. Its former restaurant is closed now, and despite the online photos there’s no pool. The best part was the Black dog who lives outside the entrance. I called him Bruno and would’ve taken him home if I could.

My kids loved the room, the beach, and the play room at this wonderful resort. We’ll definitely come back.
