It could've been a really nice stay, but the owner showed no compassion. My train was delayed and I got there shortly before 10pm. Even though I'd told him, I nearly ended up sleeping in the street. He doesn't seem to understand the homey feeling a backpacker hostel should have, the kind you find in every other hostel.

Very comfortable hostel with clean, pretty good facilities. There's a safe, and they provide things like soap and shampoo. Bring your own towel.

The owner was helpful, the facilities were great, and there was plenty of room in both the dorms and shared social areas. Best hostel I've stayed at in Taiwan.

The staff were really nice, especially the receptionist on duty Jan 2nd, 2023. I also liked the third-floor lounge. It's fairly affordable, and the location is pretty good, close to Ruifang Railways Station and interesting places nearby. The downside is that the facilities feel limited and a bit lackluster.

The hostel assistant was so welcoming and a big help to foreign visitors. They speak English well. It's near the train station and also close to a bus station with service to jiufen old street. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.
