Good Time B&B

The owner is so welcoming and helpful, and can speak basic English. He made us a big breakfast each morning and stayed at reception late so he could wait for everyone to return after dinner. There's also a lovely old cat who likes sitting on people and purring. I'd happily stay two more nights if I had the time. The room is large and clean, with a stunning view, and the toilet is spacious too. Hot water is available, though it takes a little while to warm up the first time. Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, and towels are provided, but bring any other skincare things you might need. The view is worth all the walking, though there are a lot of stairs, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have mobility issues.

Our room had a spectacular view of Jiufen, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, and went out of their way to help with our vegetarian needs. I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience true Taiwanese hospitality.

We had a comfortable, enjoyable 3D2N stay. The Airbnb was clean and cosy, with a good view from the room, and each room seems to have its own design and style. Breakfast was included, healthy, and hearty. The host was friendly and accommodating. We arrived late in the rain, and he waited for us at the door. Jiufen old street is very close, about a 5-8 minute walk via the shortcut staircase.

The BnB is clean and roomy, and Old Street is close by. We got there on a packed Saturday, and I was worried about parking, but the owner jumped in the car and guided us to a free spot off the street. He was really personable and keen to help however he could. Highly recommend.
