There wasn't a suitable hotel in central Taipei for my business visit, so I stayed in Banqiao instead. The airport bus 1962 stops right outside, and the various Banqiao stations are about 7-15 minutes away on foot. No breakfast is served, though nearby convenience stores are closed. The bathroom has a tub and a separate toilet, and they leave two water bottles each day. There's also a hot and cold water dispenser on every floor. The price was reasonable and it was a nice place to stay. My main gripe: the TV doesn't have BBC or CNN.

You can hear people talking in the next room because the walls don't block sound. Even one of the male staff said so. Strange, and not a good stay. I'd book somewhere else.

There are plenty of good places to eat and drink nearby, and the night markets aren't far away. The staff were super friendly. I accidentally booked an Eco room without knowing what that meant, which was my mistake. It was very, very small, and I had to buy towels, soap, and shampoo. That's on me, not the hotel. I'd still recommend staying here.

The room itself was small but clean and okay. The staff, though, were really unfriendly. The boys were nice, but the girls, omg 😑. And for two days in a row breakfast was McDonald's. What a happy breakfast hour 😑

Everything was clean and tidy, and it's close to the MRT. The receptionists were really friendly and gave tourists great service. I'd happily come back.
