We loved the walking paths, the quiet winter setting, and how carefully the grounds were built around existing rocks and trees. The place felt safe, beautiful, and thoughtfully laid out. There were a few neighbors, with mostly day visitors around. Winter is colder up in the mountains, and it seems many Taiwanese avoid that season, but I actually liked the calm. We missed the eco-tour because animals tend not to come out much in winter, especially in rain. We did join a wildlife workshop and went out by the creek with a nature guide to look for animals. It was interesting, and we learned quite a bit. Our RV was clean, cute, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The barbecue area right outside was convenient. We tried breakfast, afternoon time, hotpot dinner, and barbecue. Breakfast and barbecue portions were huge, with leftovers, and everything was fresh, delicious, and seemed made with care. Hotpot was filling too, though we finished it all. The deer, capybaras, ducks, and chickens were adorable and gentle, and visitors could pet and feed them. The biggest change I'd like is having a staff member on site all the time. The person selling feed left, and I saw two groups mistreating the animals in one day. One woman jokingly threatened to hit a capybara for eating only the leaves and not the stem, while her toddler, husband, and mother laughed. Maybe she meant it as a joke, but knowing what people can do, I didn't find it funny. Later a man repeatedly poked a resting, full capybara with leaves he had bought. It made me sick and I felt bad for the animals. If visitors get to enjoy cute animals, they need to be strictly protected. Since the property is in the mountains, one deer was attacked by a wild dog once. A vet saw it, and I hope they add more protection against that kind of danger. We met the owner, who seemed passionate and ambitious about improving the resort park and glamping site. He was generous, the food quality was top notch, the staff were great, and the place was clean and well organized. They're very pet-friendly. Our fur baby could eat with us and loved the RV and walking trails. He had a blast and was so happy. This is a beautiful place to visit during the day even without staying overnight, and a nice glamping spot too. My family and I would like to return. I'm not usually a fan of crowds, which summer will bring, but I'd still like to come back then to see and learn about more animals.
My class came to see the capebaras, and there were ducks, roosters, fish, and lots more too. Highly recommend!
The park was spacious and comfortable, and clearly designed with a lot of thought. But the splash pad water looked visibly awful. Maybe there were too many people, or perhaps the lack of a foot-washing station was the reason.
Great outdoor place for family fun, with a big water area, a BBQ spot, and a short hiking trail. The facilities are new and clean.
Kids can spend the whole day here playing. It’s a great spot for them.
