OHYA Chain Boutique Motel-Linkou

The online pictures are fake. The flagship rooms don't have a pool, and when we asked to upgrade, they said it wasn't possible because we'd already booked through Booking.com. Horrible service 👎

I was excited about my planned stay at OHYA Boutique Motel - Lin-Kou Branch, but an urgent matter forced me to change plans at the last minute. I picked the hotel because of its great reviews and hope to stay there on my next trip to Taiwan. Thank you.

My family and I spent two nights here in a presidential pool suite, mainly because it had a private swimming pool. The staff were friendly, though they could have been more helpful in getting us to our room. The surroundings were very clean, and the room was huge. The AC cooled quickly and hot water was available around the clock. There was a spacious closet with hangers and a small fridge. Some light controls didn't work properly, so we ended up sleeping with the lights very bright. We also had a hard time with the transparent toilet door 😅😅😅. There's a convenience store across the street and a grocery store on the other corner. My nephew and niece enjoyed the whole stay.

For around 80 USD a night, we got a really big room with three huge bathtubs, plus a steam room. There were complimentary drinks, snacks, and plenty of toiletries to take. The breakfast was very good too, especially the fresh, tasty buns, and the place is right across from a bus stop. Some doors didn't line up properly and could use maintenance so they'd open smoothly. Still, it's fantastic for the price. Everyone should try staying at a motel while traveling in Taiwan.
