The staff were courteous and helpful, and the free ice cream was a sweet welcome. The place has a funky, modern vibe, and the rooms look fresh, work well, and are a good size. It's a cool hotel located above an MRT station, and a nice place to stay away from the usual city buzz. The downside is that there isn't anywhere for a bus to park. You also have to go up a few steps to the first floor, then check in on the sixth, which makes arrival a bit more troublesome.

The gym was the standout for me, easily one of the best reasons to stay here if you want to work out while visiting Taipei. My room was exceptionally clean, and the reception staff were friendly all three nights. The hotel sits right above the metro station, which connects to a small mall of sorts. I'd happily come back.

Having the MRT in the basement is a big plus, and the location is convenient. The room was clean and roomy, and I found the staff approachable and nice. The hotel has a lively, colorful feel, especially in the lobby, though the hallways get a little dark and spooky at night. I hope they brighten them up.

The room was comfortable and fairly spacious for Taipei at this price, and having a laundry room was really handy. We arrived after midnight, but the receptionist greeted us happily and check-in was smooth. Everyone on staff was friendly and made a real effort to speak English, which they handled well. The hotel is right above the train station, with plenty of good food nearby. I'd stay here again when I'm back in Taipei.

The room felt comfortable and had a pleasant view, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Getting into central Taipei took about 20 minutes, with bus stops and the MRT easy to reach even though the hotel isn't in Taipei proper. One small suggestion: offer an egg choice with every breakfast option, and leave sugar and cream in the room for coffee. I'd consider staying again.
