The bathroom was damp because it only had a shower curtain, with no separate shower area or exhaust fan. The room itself was clean and roomy, with a little table, sofa, and clothes rack. Downstairs there’s a shared hot and cold water dispenser, a fridge, and tea bags. The location is handy, very close to FamilyMart, not far from PX Mart, and a short walk to Zhongzheng Road. Getting around on foot takes care: Puli’s roads are painted in a confusing way with too many lanes, and main roads have shoulders but no sidewalks. The shoulders are often used for parking, so you have to walk through driveways. Drivers do yield, but it still feels dangerous, so try to make sure they see you early.

The location was really convenient, and I was very satisfied with the stay. Breakfast came as vouchers for popular local restaurants, so I didn’t have to queue with the other tourists. The TV had Netflix, which was much better than in some hotels that only have Channel 4. I booked this B&B online on the spur of the moment, and it exceeded my expectations. The owner was attentive throughout, and the room was incredibly clean. Even the corners of the display cases were dust-free. I’d definitely stay again next time I’m in Puli.

The owner kept in touch attentively before and after our stay, and gave us suggestions for nearby attractions and restaurants. We had a wonderful time. The guesthouse was newly renovated and made for great photos, with a simple style, clean and tidy surroundings, and decorative touches downstairs. The rooms were beautiful, and the kids loved theirs and said they wanted to come back. The domestic travel voucher made it a great deal, and the owner was super nice and even gave us a breakfast voucher.

We stayed in a bunk-bed room that was very clean, with a large memory foam mattress. We weren’t used to the mattress, and the bed frame made some noise, so I wouldn’t suggest this room type for light sleepers. The pillows were a little too high for us. The guesthouse has a rice cooker, sterilizer, and bathtub, which is handy for families, and it’s right in the city center within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. The owner was incredibly kind. Thanks for helping collect the cake and surprise the birthday celebrants, and for providing delicious fried dough sticks at breakfast. All in all, a pretty good guesthouse 😉.

I loved the room and would definitely return if I get the chance. It was beautiful, clean, and had a lovely feel. The air conditioning and heating were both comfortable, and there was a small sofa to sit on. They thoughtfully left tea bags and cookies. There’s a fried chicken place nearby for a late-night snack. The owner was friendly and answered all my questions. Highly recommend ❤️
