Aurora Villa

The view is superb, and the room was clean. Staff were really helpful and informative. One downside, the shower room could use some improvement. For environmental reasons, I’d suggest dispensers for shower gel and shampoo instead of sachets.

The villa is gorgeous, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious living room, all to ourselves. It’s a bit away from the main road. Ask the owner how to get there, because Google Maps may send you along a narrow, winding road.

The morning view from the B&B was awesome, and breakfast at the main house was good. You could choose cooked western or eastern food, including porridge with sides, then help yourself to bread, fruit, and drinks. We stayed in the Yellow Cottage for one night after visiting Cingjing Farm. The B&B is down a small road with a very steep slope, and there’s parking right in front. Stairs lead to the cottage, but a lift carries the luggage, and staff helped move our bags. The room was generally clean, though there were lots of insects, so keep the door closed. There’s a water dispenser beside each cottage. The toilet was clean, with an old European style, small tiles, and a tiled bathtub.

It was lovely to have Mr. Wu help me get to the bus, picking me up and dropping me off. He spoke some English, and I really appreciated his kindness and hospitality. This is a beautiful, quiet, family-run place, away from the bustle of Cingjing. The surroundings are beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. Love from Canada!
