Fruit House

We had a peaceful three-night stay, and their friendly Golden Retriever made it feel special. The local breakfast was delicious, and it’s about a 10-minute drive to CingJing Grassland Farm. Family Mart, several good restaurants, and a tea specialty shop are all within a five-minute walk. The rooms were spacious and very clean by local standards, with modern bathrooms and bidets. The air conditioner started dripping on our second night. The owners were away, and we didn’t tell the staff. There’s no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. The building is set back behind the first building on the road and wasn’t easy to spot. We drove past it twice before finding it.

Dinner at the owner’s hotpot restaurant downstairs was the highlight for us. The soup base was excellent, especially with kimchi, and the ingredients were very fresh. The sweet vegetables came from the Homestay’s own vegetable farm. From the hillside, we also had a good view of the stars at night. Our host was incredibly accommodating, and the room was spotless with the essentials, including toothbrushes. The shampoo and shower gel smelled like herbs, fruit, or flowers, and were described as paraben-free.

The host went out of his way to arrange a tour for us to hehuanshan for sunrise and stargazing, even though the tours were fully booked. The mountain view from our room was amazing, and the rooms felt clean and new. Restaurants and a Family Mart convenience store are right beside the hotel. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend the trip to hehuanshan.

The owner was fantastic, friendly, and helpful, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. This is the best bnb I’ve stayed in Nantou. My room was spacious and super clean, with strong air-conditioning. The shower kept a steady flow of hot water, just right for winding down after exploring the town. A must-stay if you visit Nantou.
