Ming Ging Farm

I paid $566sgd for 2 night. The main hall has a beautiful view, but there’s no lift and my first room looked out at tree branches, nothing like the “mountain view” in the Agoda photo. I’d requested a nice view and balcony for my birthday, and being put in that room really spoiled the mood. The aircon was weak even at 16°, so I woke up sweating. There aren’t activities at the hotel either. I asked the counter staff Anne about changing rooms. She explained that the double queen bed room I’d booked on Agoda didn’t have the view I wanted, even though it was listed as “mountain view,” and showed me the room types. I paid another 1000NT for the view room. Block D is farther from the lobby, but the view was nice and the aircon stronger than in the Block B room we first got. There’s a shuttle bus for guests staying in Block D. Breakfast tasted good and had an acceptable variety. I’m disappointed they didn’t tell me about the room type when I clearly requested a nice view at booking, so I lost a day I’d hoped to enjoy the view. Thanks to Anne for being professional, and to the shuttle service staff, especially Mr Xiao Cai, for their polite service. I hope they update the Agoda room details so guests aren’t misled and disappointed. The photos uploaded now show the better view room type.

I stayed here before and have come back for another 2 nights. The location and views are superb. We’re looking forward to the sunsets over these two evenings.

The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone on staff was so friendly, helpful and professional throughout our stay. Our family room was bright, very clean and comfortable. We’re really grateful we got to stay here, and the experience exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely recommend it to friends. 👍

The buffet breakfast was delicious, and that great view made it even better!
