Getting around without your own car is tricky, so arrange tourist shuttles or private transport well ahead. We really enjoyed staying at the Cotswolds Villa, with its distinctive character and charm. The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly the whole time. Breakfast had a good range of quality food, and the homemade bread was a standout.

Norris really helped turn our trip around. After driving 5-6 hours, we arrived much too early and realized we’d booked the wrong dates. There happened to be a room available, and he kindly let us stay and suggested another location that suited our dates. We had a great trip thanks to him. Thank you!

The mountain views were lovely, and we had a memorable stay from 16-18 Nov. The hotel is cozy, the breakfast was good, and the owners were friendly. A special thanks to Chen, the housekeeper, who was especially helpful and took great care of our family of four.

I loved the mix of cold mountain air and bright sunshine. After just two nights, I was already looking back fondly on the stay. The vintage American-style decor makes a strong first impression, and the staff’s warm welcome gives the place a cozy feel. Breakfast was the daily highlight. The host’s freshly made sourdough was delicious, as were the other snacks, which looked as good as they tasted.
