The hostel itself stays fairly quiet, even though the surrounding area is busy. Being near the university means lots of motorcycles, and crossing the street can be a bit of a pain. It only bothered me a little, though. The place was very clean, the owners were kind, and it’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.

The bathroom was old, very dirty, and mouldy, and the owner, who was the only staff member able to speak English, was extremely rude. Communication was only through the Line App, and despite asking to speak in person, we never saw the English-speaking staff member on site. When we arrived at 18:30, the check-in time, nobody was there. The instructions on the door were only in Chinese, and it took until the third number we called to get an answer. We can’t understand how this place got such good reviews. I wouldn’t stay here.

Really nice area, and I’d happily come back. The staff were polite and quick to help, the Wi-Fi was strong, and there were comfy spots to hang out. Everything was very clean, and towels were free.
