Please keep an eye on internal controls and check whether transient individuals have made any unauthorized card transactions. I wasn't fraudulently charged during my stay, and the reviews make this seem like a reputable business. The transaction was recorded offline rather than online, though I don't know the details. My bank has since replaced my card, and I've requested two replacement cards. I'm raising this to make you aware. Thank you.

I spotted a restaurant voucher on sale through Gomaji and bought one to give it a try. The breakfast buffet was super generous and cost under 200 yen, so it was really good value.

We had trouble sleeping both nights and came away more tired than when we arrived. We had considered booking a second night after the first, but later regretted doing so. The room itself was quite spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was available. FamilyMart is right downstairs. Breakfast was decent, with plenty to pick from, including salad, fruit, porridge, steamed buns and noodles. Still, only one dish had meat, apart from braised pork rice and eggs. At 248 yuan per person, you'll have to judge the value for yourself. The bed was uncomfortable and made a loud noise if we accidentally touched the headboard. The air conditioner was very loud too, and the room felt worn, even the toilet seat made a tired sound when closed. I've slept in lots of hotels and hostels in different countries, but this was the first time I'd felt itchy in bed. I scratched for both nights and couldn't sleep, but the itching stopped when I got out of bed. Maybe it's something about my body, I really don't know. My companion didn't itch, but also slept badly both nights. We couldn't work out why. There were very few outlets, and the one by the bedside table was broken. At first we thought our equipment was the problem, but the other outlets worked. The soundproofing was actually quite good. We both agreed we wouldn't stay here again. It just wasn't right for us.

The room was basic, and there was a strong disinfectant smell when I walked in. The air conditioner was noisy too. Still, it was okay to stay in, and breakfast was good. Not bad.
