Miller Inn

The staff really made the stay. Everyone we met had a great attitude, some of the nicest hospitality workers I've come across here in Taiwan, where we usually stay in budget hotels or hostels. The room was comfortable and felt like home, and it had all the amenities and toiletries we needed. The whole place was spotless, from the tables and rooms to the elevator and lobby. We also enjoyed the coffee machine and snacks. There's plenty of parking diagonally across from the hotel, beside a coffee shop, and a free shuttle runs to and from the night market every 20 minutes. We'd definitely stay again.

The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with the things you need, including a fridge, hair dryer, and international power socket. The shuttle service is a nice extra. The only snag was that the air conditioning took a while to get going.

The room was roomy enough for two, with a bed we loved, separate shower and toilet, and everything working as it should. It had a big flat-screen TV and strong free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was nicely laid out, with a good selection and attentive service. For a small local hotel, the service throughout was impressive, and it seemed busy even on a weekday. A day before our stay, a staff member called to confirm the reservation and ask if we needed anything extra. Check-in was smooth, the front desk staff were enthusiastic, and they gave us useful information and a simple tourist map. They also reminded us about the free shuttle to the local night market, then showed us where to park in the basement. We appreciated the management and the excellent service during our overnight visit. The service deserves five stars, though the price feels more like three. Miller Inn, we'll be back!

On our Taiwan trip in 2019, this was easily the best hotel our family stayed at. The place had a clean, modern feel and the breakfast was tasty. Hotel guests also got a free shuttle bus, which was convenient, plus free bus passes around Taichung. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, too.
