The staff were perfectly nice, and the location was convenient. The room, though, was dirty and unpleasant. The whole hotel smelled strongly of smoke, the bathroom had visible grime, and I spotted a cockroach in there at night.

The staff were welcoming and really nice, but the place is too old and needs updating. The bed was so hard that getting comfortable was difficult, and noise from other guests after midnight made it hard to fall asleep. The bathroom wasn’t good either: we saw lots of roaches, and the water never got hot enough. I wouldn’t stay again.

This was the worst hotel I’ve tried. The air conditioning felt like cold air coming through a tunnel, and the toiletries were cheap. I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels around Taichung with proper toiletries. The bed was usable, lol, but it still smelled bad, as if nothing had been changed after the previous guest. I don’t recommend it; it was a waste of money.

It’s old and clearly well used, but clean and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The bed was good for the night, and the price was fair. There were lots of TV channels and movies, too.
