For the price, it was great and I’d stay again. The only downside was the shower being so open that water got all over the bathroom floor.

The staff were friendly and made an effort to understand us and help with everything, even though they don’t really speak English. We arrived two hours before check-in and they let us into the room early. The room was new, clean, tidy, spacious, and cozy, with a super comfortable bed. The Wi-Fi was good, there’s free hot and cold drinking water, and a common area on the 7th floor. It’s in a quiet part of the north district. For us, this was the best deal we found in Taichung, and a 10/10 option.

Check-in was easy and the place was quiet. The facilities were complete and new, and the price was cheap.

The stay was okay overall. It was quiet, and the soundproofing worked well unless the next door was being slammed open or shut. The lights were dim but enough for sleeping and resting. There’s no front desk staff from 11 PM to 8 AM. Nearby parking is limited, so overnight guests have to find paid parking themselves. For an early check-out, you need to leave the key cards. At check-in they give you the room key along with codes for the room and main door, so you won’t be stuck if you forget the key. There’s no bottled water in the room, but a dispenser by the elevator has water. The decor is industrial, with separate Wi-Fi for each room. There are plenty of outlets, including three-prong sockets, USB-A and Type-C ports, and bedside outlets. The bathroom toilet is a bidet. The shower gel and shampoo are homemade. In room 703, the shower faucet and pipes still worked, but they were deformed and should be replaced. The hairdryer has weak airflow and is barely useful for long hair. The lobby entrance is narrow, so three people trying to check in at once can cause a bottleneck. The front desk can arrange partner massage and relaxation services, including a massage therapist coming to your room.
