The night market, Yizhong Night Market, is just a 10-minute walk away, which is a big plus. This was my second time here, and the stay was as good as my first visit. The room was modern, well kept, and had a pleasant feel. Service was welcoming and professional from check-in through checkout. Highly recommended if you're in Taichung.

The concierge's lukewarm manner didn't make us feel welcome, and the stay was really uncomfortable. Our room was very dirty, with lots of strange stains. There was still hair from previous guests all around the toilet when we checked in. The towels were worn out, torn, thin, and so grey, but they were still being used.

The staff made a great impression, especially He Didi, who was professional, friendly, polite, and gave me exceptional service. The room was clean, with the necessary amenities, all good quality. It’s also well located, about a five-minute walk from Taichung 2nd market for plenty of good food, and around ten minutes on foot from Yizhong market.

Qian Rong at reception was really nice and suggested a night market that turned out to be much better than the one we’d planned to visit. There’s also a PX mart nearby with cheap everyday items, and we had a fun, enjoyable stay overall. The room was the main drawback for the price. It was so small that we struggled to fit and open our luggage. The room for four was three times the size of the one for two. Soundproofing was poor too. I read that the hotel was renovated from an older building, which may explain it, though I can’t really say. I hope management can improve this.
