I've never had a worse hotel stay. I booked four nights and couldn't sleep for a minute. Drilling, banging, and machinery noise went on all night, and with no soundproofing I could hear conversations, doors, and footsteps as if I were in the corridor. The whole building felt like a construction site. The room smelled damp and mouldy, dust was everywhere, and the place seemed badly maintained. Breathing inside felt genuinely unhealthy. The night staff member shouted at me when I asked a basic question. When I complained about the noise and asked for a refund, they refused to help. No apology, no solution, just disrespect. After that sleepless night I had to check out early and move to another hotel to get rest. I've stayed all over Asia and elsewhere, and this was easily my worst experience. Save yourself the stress, money, and sleepless nights. Don't stay here.

The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. The room was clean, spacious, and had modern amenities, while the location made it easy to get to attractions without losing its peaceful feel. The staff were very welcoming, too. I had a fantastic stay and hope to come back!

The location worked well, with a 7-11 just one street over. In the room, though, the floor was dusty and dirty enough to give me a runny nose. The TV stopped working, but a service person replaced it quickly. I also saw a couple of bugs during my stay.

For a hotel presented as four stars, this was a real letdown. We had a two-bedroom room that was clean enough, though the decor felt old and there wasn't much to praise. The rooftop swimming pool was small. By late afternoon it was so crowded it felt like a big bathtub. This seemed more like a three-star place, and even at that level I wouldn't recommend it.

For the price, the food and service were a disappointment. The buffet wasn't very varied at breakfast or dinner, and the food didn't taste as good as I expected. Room service didn't clean properly, and staff seemed lazy and inefficient when problems came up. The front desk was also ineffective when asked to handle something. Getting around wasn't convenient, and public transportation access was poor. The hotel needs to improve if it wants to welcome more guests. I wouldn't recommend this branch to friends visiting Taichung. The owner and staff should take the Google comments seriously if they want the business to do better.
