The Enterpriser Hotel

The location is the one redeeming thing here. Everything else made this feel like the most run-down inn I've stayed in. The place smelled awful, the bathrooms were very dated, the rooms were ridiculously small, and the ceilings looked moldy. Save yourself and stay somewhere else.

The hotel is close to the train station, with two convenience stores nearby. Inside, though, it feels old and dated, and the air conditioning didn't cool the room enough to make it comfortable in summer. Breakfast was basic, mostly vegetables with little meat. Like other hotels in Taiwan, they don't provide toothbrushes or other toiletries.

The air conditioning stayed weak even after we asked to move rooms, and the waiting area sofa was hot too. The hotel felt dark, dirty, old, and smelly, like it might have been a three-star place 25 years ago. We had no choice but to stay since we'd paid. One male staff member gave terrible service: we had lots of luggage, but he walked away, then stood watching while our bags were parked among other people's luggage with no labels.

Getting around was easy, with lots of bus stops nearby, a Familymart right across the road, and a 7-11 next door. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was cleaned daily with toiletries replenished each time.
