The curtains let in a little light, though it wasn’t a big deal. The room was quiet, very clean, and well cared for, and the staff had thoughtfully prepared everything. For the price, the room and service were much better than they looked.

The staff were really pleasant and accommodating, and they spoke English reasonably well. There are some nice places nearby for dinner and breakfast, too. The rooms have been recently remodeled and are well equipped, with great air conditioning, a very nice TV, and a modern, comfortable bathroom. For the price, this place offers far more than I expected, almost a touch of luxury. Astonishingly awesome.

You wouldn’t guess it from the outside, but inside this is a five-star hotel by Taimali standards. The second floor has been newly remodeled and is comfortable. The bathroom is nice, the water pressure is great, and the air conditioning and fast WiFi work throughout the building. There’s a coin laundry next door. Glad a place this nice is available in Taimali.

We found this place through Google and chose it based on the ratings, since we didn’t know how to find a minsu after hours. Reception was accommodating, and the room with a private bathroom and air conditioning looks terrific. We parked across the street and are having dinner at Bafang Dumplings next door. For breakfast, we can choose from three restaurants.

The owner was super friendly and helpful with cyclists. We could keep our bikes in the room, and there’s a spin dryer at the hotel plus laundry next door. Restaurants and convenience stores are within a five-minute walk. A great stop for cycling around Taiwan (round-island cycling), and the best place we found in Taimali, especially after riding from Kending.
