Haian Stay Riverside B&B

We had a wonderful stay, and the hostess’s restaurant suggestions were all delicious. The house is very clean, the staff were warm, and you can see the owner’s care in all the little details. It’s also close to a number of Anping attractions, and the bathroom had baby supplies, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our one inconvenience was that the only toilet is in the first-floor room. With four or five adults and children, there was sometimes a scramble to use it. An extra toilet in the shared first-floor area would make things easier for families. We booked two weeks ahead, and my family loved the place.

The room was especially cozy, and they’d already switched on the air conditioner before we got there in case we were too hot. The hostess was thoughtful too. She knew I enjoy making tea, so she left a kettle and bottled water in the room. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the night market is very close. A really nice B&B, highly recommended.

The kids found the big slide and all the toys in Q Rabbit's Nest as soon as we walked in, and they played so hard they didn’t want to go to sleep. From the window, the riverbank looks lovely at dawn and dusk. The owner has clearly put a lot of care into making this a comfortable place for families with children. There’s a lift straight to the floor, handy if you have big bags, and everything felt clean and hygienic, which was a relief for our family’s nasal allergies. The lobby has a nice wood smell and lots of carved wooden decorations. A really pleasant stay. 20240201 👍

Restaurants, PX Mart, and a laundromat are all nearby, and there’s also a laundry shop behind the house. Parking right in front may only fit one car at a time, though the owner seems able to sort something out when other guests are staying. The bathroom fan wasn’t working, but the owner brought a fan to help with the dampness. The separate wet and dry areas made it manageable. I stayed at Q Rabbit House and thought it was good value. I’d consider coming back.
