Hotel Cham Cham

The hotel itself is really nice. It’s a shame the kids’ playroom on the second floor has such limited weekday hours. When children need something to do, there aren’t as many options, which can be inconvenient.

The outdoor activity area was fantastic, and the staff there were patient and explained all the rules and details carefully. The room was good too, with a bathtub and balcony. The buffet at both breakfast and dinner didn’t have much variety and wasn’t very impressive. At the front desk and in the cafeterias, though, the receptionists seemed impatient and had a poor attitude when guests asked questions. I gave them one star, and even that felt generous.

This is the kind of place where you can spend your whole stay at the hotel. There’s loads to do, including a really fun climbing wall and laser crawl, and a well stocked 7-11 on site with all my favorite 7-11 beers. It’s about an hour by car or taxi from Tainan City, so it’s out of the way. The huge outdoor pool would probably make it even better in summer.

The scenery is really beautiful, and couples can have some time to themselves here. It’s also basically an entertainment center for kids, with fun activities at a decent price of 200$ each. Kids would love hanging out here on the weekend. The famous thing about there is hotel Cham, about a 1.5 hour drive from Tainan. I’d advise driving, since the roads get very narrow and unsafe for scooters after the highway. Happy vacation feelings. Peace ✌️
