We were taken with the room as soon as we walked in. It’s huge, modern, clean, and beautiful, with everything we needed, and the staff are all very nice. The lounge is a favorite spot for tea, coffee, or snacks, and the little library has a nice selection of books. Breakfast offers lots of choices, with different food each day. Free self-serve laundry is a big bonus, though you need to bring your own pods and pay attention to the service hours. We’d definitely recommend Provintia to families and expats.

For a 3 star hotel, it went beyond what we expected. We booked at the last minute because of the price and location, then got a warm welcome and help with our bags when we arrived. The staff at the door, front desk, and cafe seemed younger than we usually see at hotels, with plenty of energy. The rooms felt new, were large and clean, and I liked the library and shared spaces. We could walk to many of the places we wanted to visit, shop, and eat. We were very pleased with the hotel, its staff, and the location.

The location made it easy to get around without a car, about a 12-minute walk from Tainan Train Station. The entrance is on Zhangbei Street, rather than the main avenue. I found the staff welcoming and very helpful throughout, and the room was impressively spacious, open, and equipped with what I needed. There’s on-site laundry, which is a real plus. My one small suggestion is longer laundry room hours, since the current schedule can be tight if you get back late after sightseeing. I had a fantastic, comfortable stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the city.

We came for two nights and ended up staying four. The communal area and self-service laundry were great, and the hotel and room were beautifully designed, with modern, well-made amenities and high-quality details throughout. The staff were friendly, and their service kept pleasantly surprising us. We arrived before check-in and left our bags at the front desk. While we were out for lunch, they brought them up to our room. Housekeeping was amazing and attentive to every detail. There were also thoughtful extras: bottled water each day, free coffee in the common area, a drink and snack coupon, and delicious, varied breakfasts. For a Tainan stay, I’d recommend looking here.
