The staff quickly moved me to another room when I reported a really bad toilet smell in the first one. But there was still a basic design problem. Size wasn’t the issue, I’ve stayed in capsule hotels that use space cleverly. Here, the shower is set up so the toilet seat gets completely wet. Luckily we didn’t have bugs in the room. I wouldn’t return. I should’ve read more reviews before booking.

The rooms at At Home Hotel in Taipei were comfortable, clean, and well kept, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. You’re just steps from Ximen’s shops and lively nightlife, so the location is perfect for getting around the heart of the city. A convenient, pleasant place to stay. We had a wonderful visit.

There are supermarkets, restaurants, and a metro station nearby, and the hotel is in a great location and easy to find. The rooms have everything you need. Check-in was smooth and worked well. I can only recommend it.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The posted room photos don’t match the actual condition, and you can find much better hotels elsewhere in Taipei for the same price. Do more research when looking for a hotel, so you don’t make the same mistake I did.

The whole hotel is contactless, with no receptionist, and check-in and checkout are handled through LINE. I suspect the hotel may have moved, because it looks nothing like the other reviews. The room seemed old and not in the best shape. I only have a photo of the air conditioner, but I think that should be enough to explain. It’s also quite far from Ningxia, about a 15-minute walk.
