Beauty Hotels - Beautique Hotel

The location was very convenient, and we might give the hotel another chance on a future trip. But my wife and I stayed here about five years ago and were very happy then, while this time the service quality had dropped a lot. Room cleaning was inconsistent. They’d take care of some things but leave others undone, like vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, or replacing shower gel and toilet paper when we ran out. The two things they did consistently were making the beds every day and leaving us two bottles of water each night.

The staff and service were great, no complaints there. But the room had dirty, old carpet, black mold in the shower, and sheets so worn and thin it felt like we were lying straight on the mattress. I’m surprised we didn’t get bed bugs. The place badly needs renovations. They’ve stopped offering breakfast, and staff have to refill your water. It feels like they might be going out of business soon. If hygiene doesn’t matter to you, go ahead. I don’t normally post reviews, but I had to share this recent stay. You’ve been warned.

The rooms are clean, but so small you can reach everything from the bed. The location is good. The bigger issue is the bait-and-switch: the free breakfast praised on the website doesn’t exist, so you’re paying for something that isn’t there.

I couldn’t sleep all night because the air conditioner vibrated so loudly. Staff told me only the second floor, far from the roof, is free of the noise. If I couldn’t put up with it, I’d have to pay extra for that kind of room. Why should a hotel charge extra for quiet, or for equipment they won’t fix? A truly terrible hotel.
