The hotel is in a really convenient spot, and it’s a unique place that deserves its praise. The snack room is even better than the minibars I’ve seen at other hotels, whether complimentary or not. The bright, welcoming decor matches the staff. If room size is a concern, the dimensions are listed online and larger rooms are available.

I booked an economy room for a short rest before flying home. It felt like a new hotel, with a Japanese bidet, a good bed, strong water pressure, and very nice staff. There was a bathtub too. The snack room and gacha bath bomb were a nice touch.

We stayed five nights and really enjoyed it. The room was clean, well kept, and spacious enough for two adults and an infant. The hotel was quiet at night, and we didn’t have noise issues. Staff were super friendly, greeting us whenever we came or went. The only gripe was the small elevator, which meant only one of us could fit with the stroller. The location made airport travel easy. Taipei City Mall entrance Y13, with an elevator, is about a five-minute walk away, and the airport MRT entrance to the mall is directly across the street, so you can avoid street level on the way to or from the airport. There are three convenience stores, a few restaurants, and a luggage repair shop across the street. There’s one washer and dryer on the top floor beside the family playroom. They’re free to use, but detergent must be bought at the front desk. We were lucky that the machines were available whenever we went up. Free bath bombs were a nice extra, though we didn’t use ours.

The staff who cleaned my room arranged my things thoughtfully, and the hotel has some cute amenities. Being near the main station is very useful. I had a nice stay, though I’m not sure I’d return. My room worked fine for one person. Two people would feel cramped if you want luggage spread across the floor, but the vertical storage was good, and the heavy curtains opened to plenty of light. The bathroom wasn’t too small and had a very nice Toto bidet, but the lighting by the mirror was poor and shaving was difficult. The shower pressure was good. There wasn’t a tub or separate stall, but the floor drain caught about 95% of the water. I thought the hotel had stopped supplying soap and shampoo because its website mentioned avoiding single-use bottles for environmental reasons. They actually provide both in large wall-mounted bottles, which was nice. I heard people in the hall, and water running through the pipes beside my room when people flushed. That was annoying, but no more than that.
