I’d avoid this place. I left my serviced-apartment contract after only a few months. The linens were scratchy, and half the drawers had an old, musty smell. The air conditioner was dated and inefficient, which drove my electricity bill way up. Then the bathroom ceiling gave way one day and flooded everything. Fortunately, I didn’t have much in the room at the time. The location was good, and management returned my deposit and paid some of the earlier electric bills, which is the only reason I’m not giving one star.

It’s a beautiful place to live, but the rules were a bit much. During Covid, we had to keep paying for all the facilities even though they were closed. I paid a premium for a pool and gym that were residential-only, but I couldn’t use either. We also paid extra for cleaning because the facilities weren’t available. The government rules were in place and had to be followed, but our maintenance fees weren’t reduced even though we couldn’t use what we were paying for.

I’m glad I chose this place, even if eight days here might feel expensive to some visitors. Comfort and privacy matter to me. It’s an eight-minute walk to the MRT, and there’s plenty to see and do nearby. I enjoy jogging in the morning, and it’s a nice route to Taipei expo, or a pleasant walk. The host was kind, and I appreciated that.

The room was spotless and just the right size, and the location made it easy to reach the metro and get around the city. We stayed in September 2018. I was unsure about having to use WhatsApp to let them know we’d arrived, but it turned out to be very efficient. The staff were helpful and great. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in Taipei. Good job, guys!

There’s a street with food vendors right around the corner, and the apartment sits conveniently between the MRT red and yellow lines. Communication was easy and everything was straightforward. For the price, the room was very good value. I’d definitely stay here again.
