Click Hotel - Taipei Main Station Branch

We picked this hotel after reading the good reviews, and found it easily after arriving from taipei main station. There’s a little playground for kids, plus free coffee and snacks. The room was great, and there are lots of places to eat nearby. Very convenient, and definitely kid friendly.

The room was clean and had enough space for two people to open their luggage. There’s a washing machine and dryer, and I liked the funky lobby with tables and chairs, plus free coffee, tea and drinks. The price was affordable and the location was excellent. The one downside, which I somehow hadn’t seen mentioned in reviews before booking, is that you can’t flush toilet paper. For some of us, that’s pretty nightmarish and could decide whether we stay here.

We chose a family room and found it good, with good service too. The building looks old from the outside, but the interior has been renovated. It’s close to Taipei Central Station and is kid friendly.

The room was fairly spacious and clean enough for us, though it had no window. The rules for using the room and bathroom were clearly posted, so it was easy to avoid fines. You can pick up hotel amenities yourself at the front desk. I arrived with my wife and daughter after booking one twin room on Agoda for 1 on Jan 1, 2026 at noon. The receptionist wouldn’t give us the room because the reservation was for 2 people and there were 3 of us. After negotiating, I paid another NT$600 for a triple room. The hotel is on the 5th floor of an old building, a few steps from Taiwan Main Station, the main railroad subway in Taipei. Nightmarket and hawkers were nearby too. It’s good for a 1 day transit visit.
