The only thing I’d add to the bathroom is a shelf for personal items like soap and razors. Otherwise, it was great: fully enclosed, with good water pressure, a warm bidet seat, and plenty of counter space. The king size bed was really comfortable after the jet lag, and the hotel was quiet at night. The breakfast was decent, with a good range that changed each day apart from the basic staples. Three 7-11 stores are on the way to the train station, handy for late snacks or toiletries. The location is a calmer alternative to ximen, with places to walk to and eat nearby. The staff were friendly, spoke english, and made me feel welcome when I checked in early, left my bags, and came and went. I enjoyed my first visit to Taiwan and was glad I picked the forward hotel!

The MRT is only a 3 minute walk away, and there’s a 7-11 right nearby. Breakfast is served daily from 7 to 10, and my mom especially liked the congee. We had 3 people in the room with 3 carryons and 3 backpacks, and there was enough space. Bigger luggage could make it tight. They supplied bottled water and instant coffee, plus an electric kettle. The shower had great pressure and hot water came through right away.

The reception staff were friendly, the rooms were quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was unbelievably good, with different dishes on different days. The hotel is right by a metro station, with two 7-Elevens and several restaurants and bakeries close by. There are massage chairs too, and the gym has a treadmill machine and a few sets of dumbbells.

For this location, it’s worth the money. The room was clean and had NO musty smell, unlike many hotels in Taipei. The nearest MRT is a 3 minute walk, and the staff were helpful and quick to respond. A high CP option.

It’s a good price, with a good breakfast and a small but nice gym. The room is on the small side, though the location is hard to beat. The staff were professional and very nice. Laundry costs NTD100 per run for each machine, washer and dryer, and each run takes over 1 hr. The internet didn’t seem good on the 7th floor, and the TV wouldn’t connect to the network. That wasn’t a big issue for me since I had alternatives.
