Royal Rose Hotel Ximen

Just a few steps away, there’s plenty of food, and Ximending pedestrian street is nearby. We had breakfast in the cosy sitting area and found it relaxing. They provide free snacks, coffee, tea, and both hot and cold drinking water. We were glad we stayed here.

The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. I liked the Christmas decorations, and there were laundry machines, free cookies, tea, snacks, water, and a microwave. My room also had a fridge and kettle. I’d stay here again.

It’s a little far from the heart of Ximending, but the room size makes it a very nice option. The room was spacious, and the staff were helpful with lots of things.

The location was superb and really strategic, with lots of places to eat nearby and Xi Men Ding within walking distance. I booked quite last minute on Agoda and got a double room on the 5th floor. I’d booked a room with a window, but it was almost nonexistent, just a tiny half-window on the wall by the bedhead. There was no view and very little sunlight. The room wasn’t huge, but there was enough space for two suitcases. The hot water worked well and had good pressure. I also loved the guest snack buffet, with unlimited biscuits, chocolates, instant noodles, and coffee. There was a water dispenser in the common area too. In fact, most public areas and train stations have free refill or dispenser water.
