Breakfast was simple, with a vegetarian option. I liked the lychee yogurt drink and congee. The MRT station is very close, along with convenience stores, fast food (Mos), and Shuangcheng night market. Front desk staff were courteous and greeted us each time. We had a deluxe twin on the 7th floor. It was spacious, clean enough, and had no smell. You can request cleaning or a touch-up at the front desk. The area was quiet, though the 7th-floor hallway smelled and could use carpet cleaning or replacement.

There are loads of food options around the hotel, plus a whole street of night markets to enjoy. We arrived a bit late and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming!!! The room was clean and COLD! Summer is a MUST!!! We'd absolutely love to come back!!!

The staff were kind and helpful, which was the one bright spot. Still, Good Life Hotel was in such poor shape that it couldn't make up for the rest. My room felt damp and worn, with mold visible on parts of the ceiling, and the photos on the booking site gave a very different impression. I expected more and found the stay uncomfortable.

Thin walls meant I could hear the neighbors, the room wasn't tidy, and the place felt old. It was overpriced too. Avoid.

The friendly staff and the hotel's location near a 24-hour night market were about the only upsides. The carpet looked dirty, the room was run down, and the bed was small for a couple. It badly needs renovation, and it wasn't worth the money. I didn't pay for the stay directly. 'romantic life', the wedding photoshoot company based in taiwan taipei, had booked and covered it as part of the package I signed up for. They promised a “nice hotel stay...... ”, so I had high hopes, but those turned into empty promises. At check-in, the hotel staff told me the room hadn't been paid for. That was a red flag.
