Grand View Resort Beitou

The room was gorgeous and spacious, with a private hot spring. There were snacks, tea, and a fully stocked drinks fridge, which came in handy for staying hydrated after all that soaking. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. It was my first time at this resort, and I wish we’d booked another night or two. It’s definitely steeply priced compared with other resorts nearby, but I felt it was worth it. A shuttle picked us up from Beitou Station. Before our room was ready, we could use the public hot springs and sauna/steam room. There’s an outdoor pool and warm spring too, but we skipped those because I didn’t bring a swimsuit and the weather wasn’t great. Breakfast was included, with a choice of Taiwanese or Western style set. I’ll definitely return, maybe as an annual tradition.

The hot spring water was lovely, and the hotel staff were friendly and nice. Be careful in the public bath, though. Because the sulfur spring water makes the stairs hard to see, you can’t clearly spot them. The room is old-fashioned but feels clean and well managed. A shuttle takes you back and forth to the busy street. I’d like to visit again.

I booked a 90-minute private room with a window to see outside. It was large, very clean, and the hot spring bath was fantastic. The experience felt very private and was great value for the price. My skin felt so smooth afterward. I highly recommend booking a slot there.

After enjoying their two-hour hot spring experience in March, I decided to stay the night as a guest when I returned to Taipei. The rooms were fantastic, and the staff were very kind. They offered lots of complimentary snacks and drinks, as well as welcome plum wine. Breakfast was delicious, and I could clearly see why they have Michelin. It was a great stay that brought me back!
