Green World Sansui

The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were friendly. But I couldn't stand up in the shower. I had to hold the shower head because it wouldn't stay attached to the wall.

The facilities and surroundings were nice, but breakfast completely spoiled our stay with four family members. Food ran out early, including the vegetables, and nothing was replenished. When we took pork floss for our rice, a female staff member in a green uniform and glasses loudly mocked us in front of other guests, saying, “I don’t know why there are so many people who love pork floss today!” It was humiliating and disrespectful. We paid NT$200 each, NT$800 for all four of us, yet felt watched while eating. Later, we saw male and female staff packing leftover dishes and fruit into lunch boxes for themselves. They were also talking about which dishes had run out and who had taken too much. If guests taking food is a problem, then don't charge for breakfast and keep it for yourselves. It strongly felt like food wasn't refilled because staff wanted the leftovers for themselves or their families. Breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m., but long before that we were repeatedly urged to hurry because staff were about to “clean up and get off work.” At other hotels, guests can finish at their own pace even after service ends. Here we felt rushed and unwelcome. We left angry and disappointed. The hotel's hardware is beautiful, but the staff's attitude is completely wrong. I strongly suggest the owner review the security camera footage from that breakfast shift to see what employees did and how paying guests were treated. If the owner wonders why business isn't doing well, this kind of staff attitude is the root cause.

The location was useful, with an airport Limousin bus stop five minutes away and public bus stations nearby. Walking from Taiwan main station takes about 40 minutes. We paid around 900 USD for three adults for five nights, breakfast included. We were given one double bed and one single bed. Cleaning happened only once, as noted, and even though we put the cleaning request on the door, service wasn't provided. Amenities were self-service at the front desk. Breakfast wasn't as appealing as I expected at that price. The Taiwanese dishes changed daily, but the selection was very limited. The chubby man manager kept watching customers while they ate. Front desk staff were generally friendly, and the woman manager was helpful and multilingual.

The room was much larger than I expected, very clean, and had toiletries, a closet, slippers, plenty of towels, and a safe. The bed was comfortable, the pillows surprisingly soft, and there was a feather blanket and cable TV. The spacious room also came with two bottles of water and tea. Everyone on staff was friendly, professional, and proficient in English. I'll definitely be back and stay here for my Taipei trips.
