The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the cleaning service lady's were nice too. We spent 3 weeks at HOPE HOTEL in November last year. The room was clean, with a nice real bed and a good bathroom, and it was very close to Taipei main station. Having a Washing machine and dryer meant we could do our own laundry. We're coming back to Taiwan early next month, and we're sure we'll stay at HOPE HOTEL again. See you soon, Hope Hotel.

The location is the main draw, right in front of the Z8 Exit of Taipei Main Train Station. The hotel takes up the 4th floor of a building whose exterior isn't very appealing, though upstairs it looks better. My room was okay, neither especially good nor bad, but the mattress was too soft for me. I'd keep expectations modest beyond the location.

The staff were helpful and the location was great, but there's no safe box. Soundproofing is basically nonexistent, so you hear the very noisy street and noise from inside too. They also advertise hourly rates. I didn't see them, but if I'd known beforehand, I wouldn't have come.

For a 1 star hotel, it's clean and comfortable, so I recommend it. The soundproofing is weak, though. If you're watching TV at midnight, keep the volume low because next door can hear you, and you can hear them too.
