We had a mixed birthday stay with breakfast and dinner included. The room was clean and really comfortable, and the in-room hot spring was lovely. The front desk staff were nice and helpful, took us up, and showed us the amenities. I can recommend the room, but not the package or restaurant. Dinner was listed in the package at 2200 per person, along with an 800 restaurant credit. The package said we could pay the difference to upgrade the main course, but when we arrived, we were told the credit couldn't go toward that upgrade because dinner was already discounted and offers couldn't be combined. We didn't think that was acceptable since both were part of the same package. The manager suggested using the credit for lunch or afternoon tea the next day, but we were staying just one night and already had two meals at the restaurant. Expecting us to have a third meal to use the credit was ridiculous, so in the end it was useless. The dinner staff had a bad attitude throughout. The food was okay, but the poor service ruined the birthday meal. After I added an edit, the hotel sent an apology email and promised to revise the package offerings and compensate us. What happened during the stay was unfortunate, but I appreciate that they listened to the feedback and responded, so I've amended my ratings.

The rooftop hot springs were clean and set in an elegant, modern space, with a comfortable, well-kept shower area. I also had a relaxing afternoon tea at Hotel Royal Beitou: the dessert set was delicious and delicately flavored, and I enjoyed the coffee and teas as well. The staff were very polite and attentive, and clearly well trained. It was a memorable visit, worth recording and recommending.

The balcony had a stunning mountain view, and getting around was easy with the MRT station right across from the hotel. Sulfur Valley Recreation Area is just 2 km away. My room was spacious and comfortable, and I loved having a personal hot spring. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had a wide range of options and the food was good. As a vegetarian, I found something suitable, though a few more vegan or Hindu vegetarian dishes would be helpful for guests with dietary restrictions. I had a wonderful time at Royal Beitou and would recommend it. Cheers!

The breakfast was very good, and the hotel concierge staff were friendly and helpful. My room was cosy and clean. The hot spring on 12/F met my expectations, though there were very few gym machines.

The location made getting around easy, with the MRT station just opposite. Check-in was smooth, and the friendly, helpful staff took us up to our room and explained the facilities in detail. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with surprisingly good soundproofing that made for a peaceful rest. I highly recommend the hotel, and it will be my first choice when I return.
