The room was clean, and they can do housekeeping every day if you ask. I liked having an outlet by the bed, and there's a convenience store nearby if you need something to eat at any time. Staying in XIMEN was comfortable and convenient. There isn't a room key, just an electronic lock, so remember your PIN. I want to stay here whenever I come to TAIWAN. Thanks.
The bed was good, and the room was clean and a decent size. The included breakfast was only a 50NTD voucher, though. They didn't reply to my email about a longer stay, and there was nowhere to leave my luggage between checkout and going to the airport.
The location was the only reason for the rating. Room management was a problem. I checked in on the 15th and found an empty bubble tea cup, with dust and hair all over the mattress and sheets. I called the front desk, waited, then called again. They said the room hadn't been cleaned yet. Guests were being put in without the room being cleaned? I went out until after 10 pm, and it was still untidy. I'm speechless.
I arrived around 10:30 PM, and the room was stuffy and uncomfortable, so I had a hard time sleeping. The air conditioning wasn't very cold at first, and leaving it on longer made no difference. I called and reached the branch office, but nobody could come help. They said it was too late and there was nothing they could do. A terrible experience.
There was a drink left on the floor from the previous guest, and the comforters had visible black dust and hair on them. We told housekeeping, but nobody came to clean up.
