Neijiang Hotel

It’s very close to ximemding square, just behind the red house. The rooms are a little old, and getting around the ramps and stairs was a hassle. The ramp doesn’t connect all the way down, so you have to lift your bags over a drop, and the other half is built as stairs 😮‍💨. They provide sandals, cups, shower gel, and shampoo, but no toothbrush or shower cap. There’s a construction site nearby, and I don’t know how long it’ll be there.

There was a little street noise and the occasional motorcycle from our second-floor room, but it didn’t keep us awake. Light sleepers might want to ask for a higher floor. A few more hooks and an extra mirror would’ve helped. Some booking photos showed bidets, but our room didn’t have one. Those were the only things we’d change. The room for four was much roomier than expected, with space to unpack without tripping over our bags. It was tidy and pleasant, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. Towels and bottled water were provided whenever we asked for daily room cleaning. Free shower gel, shampoo, soap, and lotion were nice to have, and everyone got at least two towels, so we never needed extras. Reception staff were warm, easy to talk to, and spoke great English, which made things welcoming and smooth. Ximending is right outside: The Red House, food stalls, and the MRT are nearby, about a five-minute walk. Two 24-hour noodle shops across the street came in handy after late strolls, and 7-Eleven and Family Mart are around the corner. For crispy milk donuts, you’re already on the right road. It’s affordable, clean, and comfortable, and I’d stay here again. I’m already recommending it to friends visiting Taipei.

This was an easy place to stay, and I’d recommend it. The room was spacious, clean, and modern in its layout, and you can leave your baggage at the hotel too. Service was top notch. The receptionists were welcoming and very nice, especially the elderly man and young lady. They understand and speak English for guests who don’t speak Mandarin. It’s right in the center of ximending and about four minutes from ximen mrt station.

Neijiang Hotel is right in the heart of Ximending, close to Ximen station. It was clean and tidy, and the staff were accommodating. I had a great experience and would definitely book here again next time I’m in Taipei. Thank you!
