We tried both the standard and executive rooms. The executive one was spacious and carpeted, but it didn’t make our stay much better. At this price, I think there are more pleasant places to choose from. The main entrance has a fairly large check-in area with two big statues that didn’t feel very welcoming to me. They might come across as intimidating, a bit like a Buddhist meditation center. I also found the staff lacking warmth and hospitality, more like office staff simply doing their jobs than people offering a welcoming stay. The atmosphere felt off, with stale air instead of a fresh hotel fragrance.

The room was large, modern, quiet, and really clean, with fresh sheets and towels. I’ve rarely stayed in a hotel this good. It felt luxurious, and the price was very cheap. Thanks JSL 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

After we checked out, Rita at the front desk emailed us to say they’d found a watch my husband had left in room 232. We hadn’t noticed it was missing when we left. We really appreciated and were impressed by Rita and the room 232 cleaning staff. We’ll definitely come back.

We’re staying here now, and it’s been disappointing. Conversations carry through the thin walls, including a woman who kept singing. The toilet smells dingy, there’s dust everywhere, and the room feels like it hasn’t been properly cleaned. The room is dark and has a dingy feel, too. We paid more for a room with an Onsen, hoping to relax, but that hasn’t been possible. Oddly, the cheaper rooms have heated toilet seats and bidets, while our more expensive room has only a basic toilet bowl. Definitely not worth the price.

The pillows were so hard, and the television didn’t work. But the worst part was the toilet smell. I told the cleaning lady, but she couldn’t do much, and it smelled again just a few hours later. She said it had something to do with the plumbing. I dreaded coming back to my room every night. Staying here for four nights is my biggest regret.
