The Moon Hotel

Poor hygiene was the biggest problem for me. The bathroom was dirty and old, and the towel had what looked like blood stains. When we told a staff member, she denied it. The sheets were kind of dirty too, the curtains were dusty, and the wall socket didn’t work, so I couldn’t charge my phone. A lot of things seem broken here. There was a cigarette smell as soon as I entered the bedroom. The location isn’t great, either. It’s a cheap hotel, but you can get better for the same price. Probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I wouldn’t give it a star if I could.

There was mold all over, and the old facilities were dirty. I found nail clippings and hairs on the floor, with dirt everywhere. I felt uncomfortable the whole time. I stayed the first night of my Taiwan trip, and by morning all I wanted was to get out. Breakfast was barely acceptable.

The service was friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable. I even got a free upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi, so the value for money was five stars. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I stayed two nights in room 508 on a business trip. The decor is a little dated and the room isn’t huge, but the maid service was thorough and the room was tidy when I got back from a late meeting. The bed was decently comfortable, with extra pillows, and there was a huge jacuzzi with strong jets and plenty of hot water. There’s a big HD TV with English channels. The electric kettle worked for coffee or tea, but the outdated water heater machines didn’t. Two bottles of cold water were in the fridge, and the room had more amenities than I needed.

Good value for the price, with clean, pleasant interiors and nice service from the employees. It wasn’t expensive, which made the stay even sweeter.
