K Hotel - Taipei I

We used this quiet, secluded hotel as a base for exploring the city, and the laundry facilities were a real bonus. Our room was spotless, well equipped, and had a very comfortable bed. The reception and restaurant staff welcomed us warmly each day. Zhongshan station is an easy 5-10 minute walk, with local restaurants nearby, and the main sights and city centre are easy to reach. Great value, and highly recommended. We stayed four nights. Thank you!

The staff were so polite and made us feel well looked after at K Hotel. The location is perfect, and the service is wonderful. They clearly maintain a high standard. I’ll book here again when I’m back in Taipei.

The rooms are quite small, and we struggled to find room to open our suitcases. The extra bed was uncomfortable, too. We stayed three nights at K Hotel Taipei I and would give it 6 out of 10. For the price and location, it’s reasonable. The nearest metro station is about a five-minute walk, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average but enough, while the furnishings were also average, functional for a short visit but nothing fancy.

The room needs attention. It smelled a little moldy, the interior looked worn, and the AC was loud enough that we switched it off at night. We didn’t do that at any of our other stays in Taiwan. It’s a shame the hotel isn’t better maintained, because the location is fantastic and the staff are professional and helpful.
