K Hotel Taipei SongJiang

The room was on the small side, but had everything I needed, and the hotel is very close to the MRT, so getting around was easy. It was an enjoyable stay. The AC didn’t work properly on the first night. I asked about it, and they fixed it the next day. Later the bathroom lights wouldn’t turn off. It took a third request, but they eventually fixed those too. At least the hotel responds to complaints and gets things working.

I came from Canada and found the hotel just as comfortable as places in North America. The rooms were clean, the service was great, and the staff were friendly. It’s convenient for getting around, just a few steps from the MRT, Starbucks, and convenience stores. I stayed in room 1008, and I’ll stay here again on my next Taipei visit, 100%.

The rooms were generally a very high standard, and everything was nice and clean. The breakfast area felt cramped, with lots of small tables close together. Our first room smelled of cigarettes, but staff moved us quickly. Some equipment, including the CD player set, is starting to feel dated. The staff were friendly and efficient. Free self-service laundry is a plus, though two washing machines for the whole hotel isn’t really enough.

I’ve flown to taipei many times, and this is by far the best hotel room, location, and service I’ve had. The New Year gift was a big plus too. Highly recommended.
