We picked the dorm because the price was reasonable and the location suited us. It’s a good fit if you’re out exploring all day and mainly need somewhere to rest at night. The other guests were nice and quiet, so we slept without any trouble. The shower area was clean, and the water was strong and warm enough for me. The inn is about a 5-7 minute walk from the red line MRT, and around 10 minutes from Taipei 101. There’s also a bus stop right out front, though we didn’t use that route. I’d recommend it for a short 2-4 day stay if you’re okay with a small space and only need 7-8 hours of sleep before heading out to explore Taipei.

For a layover, this was a perfect stay: clean, quiet, and private. I was in a four-bed women’s dorm, and was surprised by how comfortable the pillow and duvet were for the price. The check-in staff were helpful and happy to assist even at an early hour.

Each bed has its own entrance, desk, and door, tucked into a cleverly arranged alcove with one bed above another. You can choose a single or double mattress. They’re only four inches thick, but they’re firm spring mattresses, unlike the foam mats common in other hostels and inns. The dorm rooms have four bunks and large lockers that fit a suitcase. There’s a washer and dryer on the third floor, plus a clothes rack on the terrace. The full-service kitchen has an induction cooktop, pots and pans, and a refrigerator, so it works for an extended stay. The common room is small but comfortably laid out, with stairs leading up and down, a couple of small tables, and a large dining table. I found it easy to strike up conversations there. Guests included Taiwanese visitors and people from abroad; I met Americans, UK visitors, and Japanese guests. There were also a few people staying for longer periods.

Stayed four nights, starting 2026.03.06. The second-floor women's room had four showers and one toilet for about 20 guests, which felt crazy. There was only a tiny mirror for two people to dry their hair and do makeup, and no elevator, so you have to walk up to the second or third floor. 🤣🤪

The shared area felt cramped, and mornings could get a little noisy. The beds were incredibly comfortable and spacious, though, and the showers and toilets were clean.
