The self check-in machine was manageable for our family, which included children around eight, and we could leave our bags before check-in. If something goes wrong, you can call the staff by dialing 9. I can see why the ratings vary. This place suits people who are comfortable with technology. It's not very clean, with dust and mold, so I wouldn't choose it with younger kids, and anyone uncomfortable with self check-in may struggle too. For the price and location near the metro, I think it's okay.

The room was clean and comfortable, and there wasn't noise after 9 p.m. The self check-in robot was easy to use. It's about a 15-minute walk to the train station, which can feel long in bad weather, but otherwise I thought it was a good hotel for the price. I picked it because it was among the cheaper options in the area and Booking.com reviews seemed decent. Some of the Google reviews worried me, but my own stay was very pleasant.

If you feel uneasy when you first enter the room, you could go to City God Temple to pray and maybe feel better when you get back to the hotel. The location is very convenient, and the counter staff are friendly. But you get what you pay for. The building, room, and toilet are old, and I found a few hairs on the chair. The room lock was broken, and the toilet door wouldn't lock properly. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others.

The Wi-Fi is sloooowwwwww. The corridors are disgusting, with peeling paint and stained carpet, and many rooms smell moldy. It can't be good for you. I wouldn't stay here. Go to the Holiday Inn across the road.

There was no reception staff and no breakfast. The room was spacious, and the hotel's placement was the only real plus. The sound insulation is so poor that I heard karaoke every day, sometimes as late as 2 a.m.
