We were really impressed by the amenities, and the staff were patient and helpful. Our room was kept clean, and they helped with our heavy luggage. The hotpot restaurant right across the street was a nice bonus. It's about a ten-minute walk to the main shopping area, but the route has plenty of stores to look at, and this spot is quieter and less crowded. We picked it for a quick family getaway because the price was low in a package with flights from an external website. There are different room options, and ours was comfortable, with plenty of space to open luggage and useful amenities. Guests often gather on the rooftop, and there's a WhatsApp group for travelers who want to connect. Other features include a corner with disposable beauty products, shower caps and extra floor rugs, possibly pads too; a cozy lobby where outdoor shoes aren't allowed; laundry; a pantry with a microwave, sink, fridge, and coffee and tea; and a large luggage area with individual locks you can operate yourself before check-in or after checkout.

One of the cleanest hostels I've stayed at in Asia. The bathrooms were spotless, there were no bad smells, and the linens were clean with big towels included. Staff were helpful and quick to respond to email. They also had complimentary coffee and a filtered water dispenser. Temples and night markets in the area are about 15 minutes away. Highly recommend.

It's an easy place to meet fellow solo travelers: there's a WhatsApp group where people connect, then quickly make plans together. The dorm was the best I've seen in Taiwan so far, with room for your things plus your own light, plugs, and curtain. Private rooms are nice too, though they can get expensive on weekends. Shared spaces are all high standard, and the staff are kind and helpful. I came back during the same trip because it's such a nice place to stay.

The common area was clean, and the hostel made socializing easy. This was my second stay, and they recently added a group chat where plenty of guests were up for dinner or hanging out if you asked. I had a private double room: it was decent and the bed was comfortable, fine for a private stay, though the shower sometimes took a while to heat up. I can't speak to the dorms. The place is near Ximending night market, and the subway is maybe a ten-minute walk depending on foot traffic and lights. There are lots of bars close by.
