Members Hotel at Taipei 101

The two person room was spacious and had enough equipment, although the mattress felt firm. It's good value for money, especially given the location. A ten minute walk one way takes you to the 101 shopping district, and in the other direction there's a busy night market with more affordable shops and restaurants. The place feels more like a self service hostel, on the fifth floor of an older residential building. There are two lifts, and they were fairly clean.

The street facing windows kept out the sound well, so I slept really well. I was surprised by how big and comfortable the room was, and the decor on the fifth floor looked good. That was quite a change from the ground floor lobby, which seemed old and poorly maintained when I first arrived.

I stayed here in mid-2023 and slept very soundly. It's not right by the MRT, but I still think it's worth staying here. The room was in great shape, everything well maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional when helping out and giving recommendations. I can almost call this the cleanest hotel in Taiwan. If I return with friends, I'd choose it again.

The rooms were simple, without anything fancy, but comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Markets and shops are easy to reach on foot, and there's a 7/11 only a few steps away. At Members Hotel in Taipei, convenience and location matter more than luxury.
