Staying here felt safe, and I liked that the entrance code was changed randomly and sent by email. The online check in was easy too. They contacted me a few days ahead, and on arrival the instructions, including the code for collecting my room card, were clear and everything went smoothly. If I return to Taiwan, I'd choose this place again. The fifth floor room was a good size for one person and got plenty of sunlight. The walls could use some maintenance, but the room and bathroom had nearly everything: two towels, a hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, kettle, mini fridge and glasses. Hand soap was the one thing missing. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which mattered because the direct sun made the room hot. Housekeeping collected rubbish every day and replaced towels, and for stays longer than four nights, the sheets are changed too. The property has an elevator, handy with heavy bags. The metro is just steps away, so getting around Taipei is easy. On the main street there are places like Starbucks, McDonald's, 7-Eleven and Watsons, plus lots of other shops. Maji Square, one of Taipei's top nightlife spots, is a 15-16 minute walk away.
