It was such a relaxing stay, away from the rush of Taipei. The onsen hotel is quirky, with kitschy decor, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the staff were super friendly. There's also a free shuttle to the station. It's on the hill above Xinbeitou, about a 15-minute walk from the MRT station.

The rooms have an old-fashioned style, but they're cozy, and the in-room bath was great. The big spring wasn't open during our stay. The handy shuttle and extremely helpful front desk staff made the place feel quite classy.

The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and their pricing for extending our stay a little was fair and honest. The rooms were tidy and clean, with decor that mixes traditional and modern styles. Service here was top notch.

Our room had a private hot spring bath on the balcony, partly open to the air. It was a nice place, with good private hot spring baths in the rooms.

The room had a rustic, old-school 70's/80's feel that I really liked. The private oshin was the best part. Good value too, and I'd be happy to stay there again.
