Poshpacker Hotel

I loved my little room 🥹🥹. It had a window I could open and a fridge, plus a TV I didn't use. Honestly, the shared women's bathroom was the best part. It was so clean, there were fresh towels outside the four showers every day, the water was HOT 😉, and the toilet seats were heated. It felt like a spa. The front desk speaks English and is staffed 24 hours. There's a basement lounge with tables, a bathroom, and drinking water, and they'll store your luggage. The location is perfect. Don't think twice, I'd come back.

The room was very clean and the service was excellent. There are washing and drying machines on the 5th floor. Drying takes a selected 90 minute cycle, so have $10 coins ready. You can hear traffic noise.

I've chosen Poshpacker for several years because it's close to shops and the station. I'm glad they recently opened a brand new property just for women across from the main building. It's new, and the shower rooms are nice. The dryer in the laundry facility takes an excessive number of coins to dry just a few items.

Walking to Ximending took about 10 minutes, which was really convenient. I booked a single room but was upgraded to a twin, and it felt spacious enough, with two large windows. The shared shower room was kept clean. There was no fridge in the room, and the street outside was noisy. I sleep through anything, so it didn’t bother me, but light sleepers might find it hard at night. Apart from that, it was a great place to stay in Taipei for two nights.
